Srimayi Annam

Srimayi graduated from Dougherty Valley High School in 2020 and is now attending UC Santa Cruz in the fall of 2020, double majoring in Business Management Economics and Technology and Information Management.

​

Srimayi has been tutoring for the past four years and has taught students from elementary to middle and high school. She loves forming lasting relationships with students and her biggest goal is to see them learn.

Vignesh Pandiarajan

Vignesh is a recent graduate of Dougherty Valley, and now attends Brown University majoring in Computer Science.

​

Vignesh has experience teaching Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He also serves as a teacher at the local Tamil School. His primary focus as a tutor is to build and solidify foundations. He believes the basics are critical to developing a more nuanced understanding of any subject. He is looking forward to helping students perform to the best of their abilities.

Aarushi Riti

Aarushi is a recent alumna of Dougherty Valley High School, and now attends the University of California, Berkeley. She is double majoring in Psychology and Economics. 


Aarushi has tutored for several years.. She has experience with students in middle to high school in various subjects. Her primary goal is to provide personalized lessons with bite-sized pieces of information, to help each student see their own potential, and to guide them in any way possible.

Shreyas Kiran

Shreyas currently attends the University of California, Berkeley and is studying Microbial Biology on a pre-health track.

Tutoring K-12 for the past 2 years in the local area, Shreyas has helped several students in Math, Reading Comprehension, Writing and Speech and Debate. He has built personalized lesson plans and aims to develop strong conceptual understandings, reinforced with varied practice.

Afrin Pattani

Afrin is BS/MD pathway student in her final year at CNU, majoring in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology.

 

Afrin has tutored students ranging from middle school to college in regular and AP level courses. Her main goal is to strengthen critical analysis skills in her students. Afrin focuses on making sessions extremely interactive. She ensures that the concepts are made solid, and emphasizes that the students are able to retrieve the concepts by themselves.

Ritika Sabharwal

Ritika is a recent graduate from Dougherty Valley High School and now attends the University of Maryland, where she is majoring in Computer Science in the Scholars Program.

Ritika has experience teaching Math to middle school students. Her main focus is laying a strong foundation to instill deep understanding of various concepts and to help students tackle challenges in the future. She aims to help students reach their full potential by building key skills  and making learning fun and exciting.

Neha Meda

Neha currently attends Granada High School and will be graduating in 2021.

 

As a past tutor for K-8, Algebra 1, and Spanish, Neha has ensured that students receive all the help they can to succeed. She has also been a Sanskrit teacher at her local community cultural center and hopes to use all the skills she has learned to further continue her mentoring in various subjects. She is looking forward to building a strong bond with each and every student!

Arshaq Pattani

Arshaq graduated from Dublin High School last year and currently attends San Jose State University, where he is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. 

 

Arshaq has lots of experience tutoring math, and one of the core aspects of his tutoring is making sure the student enjoys the lesson and enjoys learning. He starts by pinpointing student weaknesses, and creates specific lesson plans to make sure those weaknesses are addressed.

Rishi Sudhir

Rishi currently attends the University of California at Davis, and is pursuing Biochemical Engineering with a minor in Economics. 

 

Rishi has tutored numerous Speech and Debate students over the last two years. His tutoring philosophy is to drill down basics and lead students to answers instead of handing it to them. He loves to learn and hopes to help his students discover the same passion for themselves.

Hadas Tankel

Hadas is a recent graduate from Dougherty Valley High School and she now attends the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She'll be studying Psychology and Child Development in the Honors Program.

Hadas has been a K-8 tutor for the past 3 years. She has experience peer tutoring at her high school and privately tutoring the past few years. Hadas’ priority is to lay a strong foundation of content and skill knowledge so the student has the tools to be successful now and in the future.

Hari Deevi

Hari is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Tutorly. She attends the University of California, Berkeley studying Architecture.

 â€‹

Hari tutored in the San Ramon Valley for five years, working primarily with students K-8 helping them build foundational skills and spark their curiosity. Hari’s work ensures that every student at Tutorly gains confidence in their academic selves, discovers strengths and weaknesses as a learner, and has a safe personalized space to improve. Hari works closely with tutors to support them via curriculum building and fostering student relationships to ensure that the students are well supported by a team, all the while keeping parents in the loop about their child’s progress.

Nanki Grewal

Nanki is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Tutorly. She attends the University of Michigan studying Computer Science and Engineering. 

 

Nanki has held a variety of teaching roles for five years: as a physics instructor at Diablo Valley College, as a computer science instructor through Girls Who Code, and as a private tutor in the Danville Area. Her goal at Tutorly is to bring accessible, personalized tutoring to her community, helping students realize their passions for STEM subjects and exceed their own expectations. Nanki works on business operations in the Tutorly workspace, making sure that tutors, students and staff have a smooth experience and can concentrate on learning and teaching.

Siri Deevi

Siri recently graduated from Dublin High School and will be attending UC Riverside in the fall. She will be majoring in Business economics.


Siri is the General Manager and Head of Finance at Tutorly. She works with the tutors to ensure the students' academic success and to support them in any way they need.  Student excellence and satisfaction is a huge motivating factor in Siri's management principles.

Katherine Chuang

Katherine attended UCSC and is currently working on transferring to Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
